Fatimah Richmond is a UX Research Strategist with over 15 years of experience across various industries, including AI, healthcare, enterprise software, productivity tools, talent solutions, and defense IT. She has held multiple roles such as research manager, research program manager, and research assistant. Her work spans a wide range of qualitative research projects, focusing on large markets and specialized user groups with complex needs. Her mission is to empower user research, enable ethical and inclusive products, and document her findings.

Currently, Fatimah works at Google DeepMind, focusing on strategic research programs for AI User Experience (AIUX). Prior to this, she was a UXLC Associate at Google, supporting UX Community initiatives. At Google Health, she managed UX research programs for clinical user research in regulated environments. She also led a team as the Manager of User Research Operations at LinkedIn, enhancing research processes and participant experiences. As a Senior UXR for Google Workspace, she focused on enterprise research, and earlier, she was the Team Lead for Senior UX Researchers, working on workplace communication and collaboration tools.

Fatimah completed her graduate studies in Applied Anthropology, Human Factors, and Design at San Jose State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Tuskegee University.
